Mission Statement
In the 1930s, a black postal carrier from Harlem named Victor Green published The Negro Motorist Green Book. This book was part travel guide, part survival guide as it helped African Americans navigate safe passage across America. Now in 2023, physicians are under attack and we need safe passage through American medicine. There are conversations that need to be had, and experiences that need to be shared to keep us safe and light the way for the next generation. The Green room is where we can have those conversations.
